Backing Tape
Please note we are no longer backing prints with paper tape
as default.
Due to the declining quality of the tape, we believe the prints look tidier
without tape and it avoids the issue of tape sticking to the packaging and
coming off in the future.
If you would like to have your prints taped just leave a note in the notes box
and we will apply tape at no additional cost.
Canvas Prints
FreshDesign offers two canvas types; Standard canvas is 280gsm Synthetic and Premium canvas is 380gsm cotton. Some customers prefer the consistent & even texture of the synthetic, others prefer the traditional look and feel of the cotton.
All canvas prints include UV blocking laminate and mounting with stretcher bars, keys and backing tape. Canvas’ can be wiped clean of fly spots and dirt with a damp cloth - this will not affect the print.
Printing Options
Extra Large Prints
We offer canvas’ up to 2.4m long with custom made stretcher bars. To ensure that these extra large prints
will last for years to come we manufacture the long sided stretcher bars with Cedar, which is very straight
and will not twist or warp.
Photo & Poster Prints
Matte 180gsm poster paper is perfect for bright low cost posters
Epson 260gsm Premium Lustre is a traditional semi-gloss photo paper with the popular “Orange Peel” surface.
Epson Signature Worthy 305gsm Hot Press & Cold Press papers are exceptionally high performing fine art papers

Canvas Laminate
Protect, preserve & enhance fine art and photographic prints produced on digital inkjet printers with a laminate coating which will enhance the colour on your media and increase fade resistance.
It will also protect against moisture & abrasion.
Stretcher Bars
Made from quality kiln dried fir wood. Rounded back edge designed so that the canvas is always a full 1/2″ elevated from the stretcher bar to insure that there will be no ghost impressions on the canvas.
